this project was initiated in 2016 with the Spanish Cultural Center of Mexico CCEMX
The main objective of the workshop is to collaborate in the creation of the collective map of the Spanish exile in Mexico launched by the CCEMX. During the workshop, the potential of spatial narrative and Locative Media in a cultural context is addressed. We also work on the idea of the representation of cultural processes through their sound manifestation as forms of knowledge transmission in the context of Phonography. During the sessions there is an introduction to projects and strategies that allow defining a group work methodology in order to generate audiovisual content.

The creation of the Spanish Exile collaborative map is the result of the will of the Cultural Center of Spain in Mexico City (CCEMX), a desire to create an interactive and collaborative digital environment for open, common and plural writing in commemoration of the Spanish exile to Mexico. It is proposed as a navigable map of the city that is the interface of creation itself and that is, support and context for this writing on the past and present history of exile, linked to real space. Memories will be discovered and experienced from your mobile while walking around the city and / or from any computer connected to the internet.
